A bit about me...
I graduated from high school in June 2006, and I started attending the University of South Alabama in August 2006. I have always wanted to be a teacher. I want to make a difference in the lives of children, and to enrich their lives with education. I made this blog to show some of the essential ideas and tools I have in regard to teaching. I hope that you recognize their importance, and maybe adopt a few as your own.

Importance of Core Subjects
I believe that an understanding of core subjects will change your life. It will not only get you into college and get the higher paying jobs, but it also will improve your quality of life. If students know the core subjects they will be active citizens, and make better choices for themselves. If students understand mathematics, then they can better manage their finances. If students understand English and language arts, then they will be able to communicate effectively and know how to use those skills in the business world for their jobs. If students understand science, then they have a better understanding of environmental issues and can help promote change. If students know history, then they know the mistakes from the past that shouldn’t be repeated.
