A bit about me...
I graduated from high school in June 2006, and I started attending the University of South Alabama in August 2006. I have always wanted to be a teacher. I want to make a difference in the lives of children, and to enrich their lives with education. I made this blog to show some of the essential ideas and tools I have in regard to teaching. I hope that you recognize their importance, and maybe adopt a few as your own.

Creativity
I believe that creativity is a part of everyone, and it needs to be opened, explored and nurtured. I believe creativity is simply expressing and thinking in one’s own way. I will encourage my students to find their creative ways, and I will help them expand them. I will allow them choices on assignments so that they can show their creativity. I might let me choose between drawing a picture to illustrate a story or write a different ending. This creative freedom has them focus on the lesson material, and enhance their understanding in their own way. I would also give creative projects such as the solar system for example, and let the students decide how to represent that whether through drawings, pictures, models, or any other way.
